Craft of the Season

Knitting is something I have tried to do several times in the past. Up until this winter break, I have had approximately zero luck with actually finishing anything. I tried to make scarves and other large and difficult things, so this winter, I decided to try headbands. They're quick, easy, cute, and on-trend right now. They also make fabulous gifts. And guess what! It actually worked. Headbands gave me enough instant gratification to continue knitting and now I've gone from just plain old knitting to patterns, twists, braids, and I'm even considering moving up to circle needles in order to be able to make myself a cowl! At this point, I've made 6 or 7 headbands and I'm still having a great time with it!
